Chic and Coziness in Black and White

Today I will show you yet another way to organize a small place. This time however, the splash of colors is going to be between black and white predominantly. Up until now the last two posts were about in a way cheerful and vivid furnishing. This one is quite different- it is more serious, one idea more simplistic, and unpretentious.

Let my words that the place is simple do not mislead you, the place is unique! As you enter the apartment you immediately feel the warmth coming from the dark floor tiles. But what is stunning about this part of the house is the flowery wallpaper on the left. The whole room would be otherwise overly simple and boring if it was not for the wallpaper. The last few posts we have been observing excessive use of wallpapers in city apartments, and this has become something like a trend. If you want to make your place different this is a very good way, and often is inexpensive.

 The kitchen continues with the idea of simplicity with the combination of black and white colors, simple wooden floor and unpretentious furniture. The kitchen brings this feeling of Scandinavian style and is very cozy and warm. On one of the walls we can observe little splash of colors- decision again in order to make the place a bit more cheerful and welcoming. 

When it comes to comfort, the bedroom seems the one room in the apartment where ambience, warmth and friendly atmosphere can be felt right from the entrance. Soft fabric covers are a very good choice for bed decoration and here we have it in combination with colorful cushions which make the place one idea more personal. When the room you are decorating is small, do not fill it with a lot of things, because it will look even smaller. Put couple of details around the big furniture- frames, a souvenir, a book, etc.
