A Feel of Lost Romance and Hard Edge Urban Design by Ryan Korban

I love a touch of vintage in design. It is a stylish way of making a glamorous place look more welcoming. The bold mixtures of vintage style with contemporary urban one and the combinations of different materials, textures, fabrics and styles are simply inspiring. And the person who inspires me further in this direction is Ryan Korban.

His outstanding work and creativity has made him king of downtown N.Y.C.’s interior design. He manages to turn every place into a work of art but without losing the sense for comfort and inviting atmosphere. His touch reminds of a lost romance, of a dream that has never been fully dreamed.  The decorations have a feel of something old, but very attractive and inspirational. The sense of something lost and gone can be felt everywhere, from the fabric furniture to the very last detail. His elaborate and exquisite interior design decisions can captivate even the most meticulous eye.  Enjoy his works in classic & refined, vintage, and hard edge urban design.

This bedroom designed by Ryan Korban reminds of a fairytale, but still is not too dreamy and girlish. The vintage touch combined with small contemporary metal lamps and glamorous light fixture on the ceiling is exactly this mixture of classic, old, and bold urban.

To the objection of everyone Ryan extensively uses animal fur and without any doubt we can say that it works very well. It makes us reminisce for the old days and the old world. The room has this feel for the story of Snow White and the Hunter but translated into one more modern approach. But the words are meaningless when talking about his work so just enjoy it!
