When we talk about Bohemian style incorporated in interior
design there are no rules to abide by which makes the whole work of
redecorating a place seem like a lot of fun.
However, it is not that easy a job
when it comes to trying to make the place look as you have not put any effort
into decorating it. Do whatever you want with the space you have, however, have
in mind the following simple tricks in order to be sure that your place is
going to look Bohemian and not something else.
Always stick to bright,
saturated colors, the more colors the better. Low-level lounging areas are a
trade mark for Bohemian style; they allow for comfort and tranquility. Layering
is good, so pile up a couple of vibrant-colored rugs to make the floor catch the
eye. The big pillows are a must have- gather several big ones in bright colors
and a couple of medium-sized cushions with patchworks. You can also put one of
those little roundish cushions which are exactly fitting the Bohemian vision.
Gather books and accessories from different places, the older the books look
the better. Being eclectic is good but in Bohemian design you have to go one
step further and make the place look as if you have just collected different
materials, fabrics, accessories, metals, books, charms and put them randomly
around the house.
Dig up all the vintage things you keep in the attic- lamps,
coffee tables, and paintings. Make a collage of framed prints and cover up the
wall with 5 to 10 of them; it makes the wall look prettier. You can make bold
and unconventional decisions and you are not restricted in any way. Be
creative, mix up crystal lamps with patchwork cushions, striped rugs, floral
wallpapers, metal accessories.

be vast and brilliant in your choices!
